Marinated vegetable strips roasted

Alternatively – and given my usually deliberate last minuteness I have never done this – one could marinate and roast some strips of veg too – why not? I would try cutting carrots or cucumbers or red peppers or celery - or even potatoes (although this would take a bit longer to cook) – into strips (like as if for dips). Marinate them with a bit of lemon juice, some chilli powder, salt and cumin powder (don’t over power with ginger-garlic). Rub a drop of olive oil on an oven tray, arrange the strips on it, drizzle some olive oil on the veg and then, for extra crispsiness, sprinkle with some cornflower on it and roast (I would guess hottish oven ten or fifteen mins? see how it looks and work it out).
